Follow You Follow You Down
Marie I like your darkness,
Marie I like your gloom,
But man your lights snap off so fast
I can barely make the room.
And I won't follow you down...
You know I dig your brainstem,
The way the peaks behave,
But when the floor drops out beneath
Your inverter squared off waves,
I won't follow you down...
So please don't take offense my dear,
It's simple strength I lack,
Cuz the next time I go down that far
I'm never coming back.
And I won't follow you down...
Marie I like your gloom,
But man your lights snap off so fast
I can barely make the room.
And I won't follow you down...
You know I dig your brainstem,
The way the peaks behave,
But when the floor drops out beneath
Your inverter squared off waves,
I won't follow you down...
So please don't take offense my dear,
It's simple strength I lack,
Cuz the next time I go down that far
I'm never coming back.
And I won't follow you down...

Canción La Chamba. Work Song.
In Mexican slang, "la chamba" means "work". La Chamba is also a nightclub at 1901 E. Lincoln Ave in Fort Collins that caters to the Mexican migrant worker community. Unlike The Long Branch, the subject of another song, they will probably not stab you here.

That gritty 1963 Silvertone half-hollowbody electrical guitar you hear sounding at minute 3:04 in 'Prowl', our latest song...well, it seems it will never be heard again. We loved it so we destroyed it. You almost made it, my dear. Almost.

Remix before the mix
For fall, we are planning to continue trickling out demos of songs that might show up on the album, due in December. Here is a remixed version of one such song, My Buddy Claude. We liked the remix so much, we never bothered to finish the original. If you're careful, you just might be able to dance to it.
